Information Literate Individual
INFORMATION LITERATE INDIVIDUALs Being information literate individual is able to determine the extent of the information needed and access the needed information effectively. In a world diverse with cultures, print texts, media, and technologies, a literate person needs to possess certain specific capabilities. Like for example we want to travel in Palawan or in Kalanggaman Island and want some information about that place and we need to research on the internet, we need to find reliable sources, evaluate information and its sources critically, selected information, and that information will effectively accomplish to a specific for our own purposes. It is our ability to access and analyze where the information came from and evaluate if those information stated is trusted and as information literate individual we understand the information that we get in that particular variety of forms and means.
