                INFORMATION LITERATE INDIVIDUALs



Being information literate individual is able to determine the extent of the information needed and access the needed information effectively. In a world diverse with cultures, print texts, media, and technologies, a literate person needs to possess certain specific capabilities. Like for example we want to travel in Palawan or in Kalanggaman Island and want some information about that place and we need to research on the internet, we need to find reliable sources, evaluate information and its sources critically, selected information, and that information will effectively accomplish to a specific for our own purposes. It is our ability to access and analyze where the information came from and evaluate if those information stated is trusted and as information literate individual we understand the information that we get in that particular variety of forms and means.

As we interview our 10 classmates if these cultural belief or practices are still known and being valued by their generation some of them say YES and some say NO. In general they say that it is still practice but not all. In this generation the millenials are observed to be no longer practicing the same old belief.
